The Forbidden Kingdom
if only the actors were nimble with English as they were with their limbs!
All I can say is... It felt like I suddenly stumbled upon the children's section of a library. I would have been better off watching Prince Caspian in Narnia.
The villian, I wasnt surprised, was the english-bumbling Seraph from The Matrix Reloaded, whose dialogues, I remember, I had to rewind a number of times to decipher.
All through the movie, I encountered a single actor who spoke english fluently- spoke it as a first language.
Another thought, monkey king was probably alluded from Ramayana. The king shares quite a lot of qualities, virtues of Hanuman, the original, primeval, pre-ancient, prototypical superhero. Am I right?
