Cosy Catastrophe

I was using Wikipedia to learn more about the movie, Children of Men, among other things, and here are two things I have learned:

Michael Caine based his performance on John Lennon.

A "cosy catastrophe" is typically one in which civilisation as we know it comes to an end and everyone is killed except for a handful of survivors, who then set about rebuilding their version of civilisation.
